What you can pay for

Claude has a free plan, paid personal plans Pro and Max, and team plans. At the time of writing (October 2026) Pro costs about $20 a month billed monthly (less per month if paid yearly) and Max starts at about $100 a month; check current prices on claude.ai before paying. Charges are in US dollars. The API is a separate account: developers pay in the Anthropic Console with prepaid credits, and a Pro or Max subscription does not cover API usage, nor the other way round. Anthropic does not officially offer its service in Russia, so the service itself may restrict sign-up or payment. Orca is responsible for the card, not for access to Claude.

Step by step

  1. Get an Orca card

    Open @OrcaCardsBot in Telegram or orcacards.app/app. The card costs 1,990 ₽ once, with no monthly fee and no fee on declined payments.

  2. Verify your identity

    You need an email address, your passport and a selfie through Didit, and a Russian +7 mobile number. Everything happens inside the app.

  3. Decide what you are paying for

    A claude.ai subscription and API credits are separate bills. If you only use the chat, the subscription is enough; if you build with the API, budget for console credits too.

  4. Top up the card

    Top-ups run from 1,500 ₽ to 50,000 ₽, and the card receives at least $15. For Pro, add a margin; the rate is shown in the app before you pay via SBP.

  5. Add the card in Claude

    On claude.ai open the profile menu → Settings → Billing, or click "Upgrade" and choose a plan. Enter the number, expiry and CVC from the Orca app. For the API: console.anthropic.com → Settings → Billing → add a card and buy credits.

  6. Enter the 3‑D Secure code

    The code is shown in the Orca app and sent by the bot. Keep the payment window open while you enter it.

Worth knowing

The card does not work everywhere. We are responsible for the card, not for access to third-party services.

  • The card does not work everywhere. Anthropic checks the account country and may decline the payment or restrict sign-up; that is the service's decision, not the card's.
  • Pro and Max renew automatically. Keep the next charge on the card or the paid plan will lapse.
  • API credits are spent as you use them and do not convert into a subscription. Start small to confirm the payment goes through.
  • Yearly billing charges the full year at once, so the card needs the whole amount.

Leave a margin for conversion and renewals. The first payment is from 3,490 ₽: 1,990 ₽ opening and 1,500 ₽ to the card.

Common questions

Does Pro include API access?
No. The subscription is billed on claude.ai and the API in the Anthropic Console with prepaid credits.
Can I pay for Claude Code with this card?
Claude Code runs on either a Pro/Max subscription or API credits. Both are paid by card in the same way as above.
Monthly or yearly?
Yearly is cheaper per month but charged in one go. If you are just trying Claude, start with a month.
The Orca app shows the attempt, but Claude still declined. Why?
The card can be fine while the service declines under its own rules: account country, IP or address. Seeing the attempt in the Orca app helps support work out what happened.
Where do refunds go?
Back to the Orca card in US dollars. They cannot be withdrawn to roubles but can be spent elsewhere.
